Ten and thirteen
10th13th
Do you ever wonder if she’ll remember the holidays, the birthdays, the everyday things you put so much love into? Most of childhood blurs by the time they’re grown. The book is the version she’ll have, in her hands — the years she won’t remember herself, told by the people who were there for them.
Stories from her grandparents, her aunts and uncles, her closest friends. Photos from every year. The things her people would say about who she’s becoming. A book she opens at ten, re-reads at fifteen, and keeps.
The world will spend the next decade telling her who to be. The book is what the people who love her say, before that noise starts.
Eighteen and twenty-one
18th21st
At the start of everything, the book of who she has been to the people who shaped her. Family stories. Photos from every year. The words of her closest friends about who she is and what they love about her. Gathered before she walks into the next decade — for her to carry forward, for her parents to keep when she leaves home.
Thirty, forty, fifty
30th40th50th
We don’t usually tell our friends and family — properly, out loud, in writing — why they matter to us. The book is the chance to do it before life moves on. Photos from every chapter so far, stories from the people who watched it happen, plain words about what they mean to the people who love them. For them to read. For their kids one day to read too.
Sixty, seventy, retirement
60th70thRetirement
The book of their life, told by the people who lived it with them. Their key moments, the photos that mark each chapter, and the things you would say in a speech if you ever stood up to give one. Gathered properly. Bound properly. For them to read on their birthday, for the grandchildren to read when they’re older, for everyone who’ll one day reach for the book on the shelf.
Eighty and ninety
80th90th
A book of who they have been, in the words of the people who knew them across the decades. Photos from every era of their life, stories the family has told for years, the things their people would say if asked. For them to read now while they are here to enjoy it. For the family to keep on the shelf for as long as the family lasts.
Anniversaries
Anniversary
The story of your years, told by the people who watched it happen. Photos from the wedding, the kids, the moves, the everyday. Stories your friends and family tell about the two of you. What your people would say about what you’ve built. A book the two of you read together, and the children read after.
The board keeps growing. The book gives them something to hold.
People add to the board as they think of things, and the book is a printed edition of what you choose when you are ready. You can make one after a month, after a year, or whenever enough has gathered.
What we do, so they don’t have to
Structure, design, guidance, prompts — that’s our job. Knowing the person — that’s yours. The book reads as if everyone knew exactly what to say. We helped them know.
